Short Term Mission Trip
Work Site Location: Boone, NC
Trip Dates: October 24 – 27, 2024
Length of Stay: 3 nights
We will depart from Calvary Crossfields Church at 9:00AM on October 24th and will return on Sunday, October 27th.
Project Description: Volunteers will assist homeowners affected by Hurricane Helene and will help in Jesus’ Name with tree work, debris cleanup, roof tarping, and mud outs. No skills are necessary prior to serving. Volunteers will be led and instructed by experienced team leads.
Schedule: Volunteers will travel on Thursday October 24th. Plan for a full work day on Friday and Saturday and travel back Sunday morning.
Due to the nature of disaster relief, the schedule must remain fluid.
Minimum Age: Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age or older. Youth, ages 14-17, must be accompanied by their parent/legal guardian.
Volunteers: Volunteers are responsible for their own travel expense including hotel, meals, and all other expenses.
